Carina + Matt

These two really did know how to throw a magical wedding with all the right dance moves, love & fun & laughter. A tranquil ceremony beautifully set at Stonebarn in beautiful Pemberton. Absolute divine flowers from Floral Army setting off the incredible bush setting. Autumn wedding location - perfect.

Photos superbly captured and styled by We Are All Stardust. Their love story is at the end of these amazing photos.. (Exclusive stockists of Atelier Pronovias Perth)

Where did you first meet?

We were introduced by a mutual friend and went on our first date to the very classy establishment known as the OBH. :-)

The proposal?

Mat whisked me away for a weekend at Indjinup Spa Retreat, I thought it was for my birthday, but Mat had other plans. We went for a walk one morning along the beach and once we got to the rock pools Mat dropped to  one knee.

Your dream wedding?

Reception Décor

The theme was elegant rustic - with touches of rose gold intertwined with various wood elements (wine barrels, jarrah tables) Hire in Style provide the lighting (fairy and festoon lights to create a canopy and two chandeliers for the dance floor. The reception flowers were created by my mum and Rich’s partner Fiona.

On the menu and catering

Delicious canapés for Laundry 43 with a selection of WA wines and beers.

Marquee Four - live band. Acoustic set to get the reception started and then another three to dance the night away too. Mat and I’s first dance was to Vance Joy’s Mess is Mine. The microphone was also hijacked at one point by my dad and our very talented friend Jysae who sang Brown Eyed Girl.

Made by our close friend Clair from Let’s Spoon with Chocolate. The cake was three different levels, Black Forest Gateaux, Cheesecake and Macaroons. It was devoured on the  night, a hit with our guests.

80 friends and family celebrated with us, many travelling from over East where Mat is from and Carina’s family from New Zealand.

I loved this wedding & I hope it inspires more of our lovely clients xx
