Where you first met?
We first met at secondary school, but it wasn’t until my second year of college before we officially got together.

The proposal?
Jason had organised for me to go shopping one Friday night with my sister while he was cooking our dinner- he should have known that was a bit of a mistake because I arrived home over an hour and a half late, and to a dark house. I was going over the excuses for my lateness in my head when I opened the door to a trail of candles and rose petals. I followed the trail and found Jason on one knee with my dream ring. Although we had talked about getting married in the future, I was completely shocked and delighted to say yes. Especially when he showed me the dress he had bought for me knowing that I would announce that I had nothing to wear out to the dinner he had booked for us. The night was amazing and one I will never forget.

Your dream wedding?
Involves a romantic, candlelit setting with all of our family and friends. Good food, wine, music, dancing and laughter are a must.

On the menu and catering
The Heritage Killenard provided us with a delicious 5-course menu that included Sea Bass and Fillet of Beef as mains.

Simon Casey Music made sure our guests did not leave the dance floor all night - the atmosphere created was incredible!

My best friend’s mother (House of Cakes) made our cake - we absolutely loved it. I’ve been enjoying her cakes since childhood and our wedding cake did not disappoint!

As our wedding was coming close to Christmas, we decided to give our guests Christmas tree baubles to remember our day by.

240 of our family and friends helped us to celebrate our big day. Living in Australia, we do not get to see our family and friends from Ireland as much as we would like so it was a lovely feeling to see and catch up with everyone on the same day. Some of our friends even made the trip back from Perth to celebrate with us, so we felt very loved!

Dear Samantha,

Firstly, I want to apologise for the delay in sending you a message! Everything has been so hectic since the wedding in December.

I have wanted to message you to say a HUGE thank you for helping me find my perfect wedding dress. It ended up being more than I imagined on the day and I absolutely loved it! I'd love to wear it again!

From the moment I set foot in your store I knew I had come to the right place. I had received recommendations from a few friends before I went to see you and my appointment most definitely lived up to the expectations. I loved the fact that you dedicate your time to only one bride at a time and I have continued to recommend you to my friends who have since gotten engaged, for not only your beautiful dresses but the wonderful experience you give.
I can't thank you enough!

Lisa x

Ps. I have attached some photos for you
