1.Vintage/Hollywood Glamour Themes
It is predicted that a lot of 2018 weddings will use vintage and old Hollywood glamour for inspiration. Whether it is the dress or styling we are sure to be seeing lots of it this year.

I am not sure if I believe that couples will opt for no cake as it is such a tradition. However, for the non-traditional couple that maybe consider themselves foodies, the dessert table could be the way to go. It is a great idea if you want to be able to provide various options such as gluten free, vegan etc.

According to David Tutera (wedding industry superstar) – the posed moment shots are a no no and it’s all about fun funky shoots. We have definitely been seeing this in the last few months so we think it may be a 2017 trend that has exploded into 2018!
This is the pantone colour of the year… before you google it just think of Cadbury’s chocolate purple! You either will love it or hate but regardless you are going to see it everywhere even if it is just a subtle hue.

This is a trend that is carrying year after year! You can add little touches of this or you can go all out and create your own wedding logo!
It is predicted that elopements, intimate weddings and less formal weddings are on trend for this year. It appears that conforming to wedding tradition is no longer expected… so expect to see lots of relaxed couples this year in the build up to their big day!
Big focus on food… which I am sure the guests will be happy to hear! Couples are now looking at their wedding as a banquet and the importance of putting on a good spread is more important than ever… think is it Instaworthy!!!

Food The Vines Resort
I don’t think we need to explain this one but with such a hype on social media these days… there are so many couple that want their big day to be Instaworthy. Now don’t get me wrong there are still couples who put a “social media ban” on their day and if that is how you feel you should absolutely do it. It’s your day and you are paying enough for your photographer, so if you don’t want to see other photos online make sure people know!
We saw the trend starting in 2017 and it is definitely not slowing down for 2018. Whether it is for the ceremony or just for the pictures – if you want your pet involved make sure to check it out with your vendors/suppliers.
