This quote is one that has always stayed with me both personally and professionally. More often than not most of us have a tendency to complicate rather than simplify which is why the vision for this shoot was to create a glamorous yet tasteful vibe.

East Perth was the perfect backdrop, with its structural elements like the bridge and the beautiful limestone walls to the manmade lake, gorgeous residential area and lush hidden greenery, we got to work with one of the best urban locations Perth has to offer.

Our stunning model Rachael who was chosen for this shoot because of her alluring beauty and her ability to characterise the look and feel we were striving for, was dressed in 3 different gowns from Samantha Wynne, each one selected for its modern glamour while still maintaining simplicity. The details on each gown were beautiful- tiny pearl buttons, elegant jacquard fabric and a train that took our breath away.

We utilised Kezani’s enchanting jewellery to enhance each look, from unique back jewellery to an opulent Swarovski crown and everything in between, her handmade creations dazzled in the afternoon sun.

Hair by Tanya created a timeless look with a sleek yet soft, elegant low bun with a modern middle parting and The Blushing Bride complimented the look with soft contouring and rose gold accents that accentuated and enhanced Rachael’s natural beauty.

Gilded florals created 2 bouquets, one with neutral tones and almond blossoms which made you feel like you were part of a fairy-tale, the other an ultra-modern bouquet with deep berry and blush pink tones. Each bouquet had so much texture and depth and they were simply stunning.
