Narnia Inspired Collaboration Samantha Wynne for Kids & Tweens!

It was one of my light bulb moments in my studio back in March this year that found myself & my amazing industry friends on site at Brookleigh Estate in Swan Valley on Tuesday April 17th with gorgeous children, violinists, flowers, horses, water, cupcakes & lighting.

"What could possibly go wrong?" was one of my main thoughts. I had this creative brief in my head and all written down on paper, inspirational shots planned out for everyone to view. My main thought was that no one else would be mad enough or as insane to take this creative project on with me. But, I was wrong. In walked my fabulous group of wedding professionals & we had a magical day behind the scenes.

I don't know how you feel about the Narnia movies, but I absolutely love them. If there was ever a magnificent movie to ignite children's creative minds & inspire natural play, then this would be one of my favourites.

Our team of stunning little girls set off to play in the most magical setting at Brookleigh Estate styled by Michelle Mok with pretty moss detail & stunning florals! Tableware from Side Serve Perth, Props & Lighting from WedStyle & Michelle Mok fromMM Creates, finished styling & the scene was set & ready!

A stunning invitation by Jess is Jam, inspired by the infamous wardrobe, a must see on Reilly Stewart's film. We shouted "action!" and when our little in house models opened this delightful invite to their High Tea, their faces were full of delight! Making the kids feel special was the crew's main focus that day, and to the delight of our talent, Emilia, Liliana, Lara & Raffaela, cakes & cupcakes were delivered on location by Cake Love Couture & what a challenge the children & Lara's horse Buttons had in staying in control & not eating our delicious couture cakes until the end of the shoot!

Whilst hair & makeup by The Pretty Parlour was well underway for our two musicians, Madeleine & McKenzie; Kezani jewellery was selecting & organising their latest crowns & headpieces for each outfit, down on set Shenae & Reilly arrived, ready to bring the team's vision to life!
