Matilda Bay is one of Samantha's favourite wedding venues. She adores the team that works so tirelessly behind the scenes and loves the views & the wonderful experience it offers.

Positioned on the shores of the Swan River with views of the eclectic Perth city skyline, Matilda Bay Restaurant provides an airy environment that's perfect for couples wanting a combination of indoors and outdoors on their wedding day. The three spacious function rooms feature glass bifold doors that lead out onto a lush garden and patio, where your ceremony can take place overlooking the marina.

Matilda Bay Restaurant is the perfect location for your special day. Situated right on the banks of the Swan River and offering stunning views of the Perth City skyline, Kings Park and the Swan River, there is no location more picturesque to have your wedding.

With 3 private function rooms we can cater for an intimate lunch or dinner for 20 in the private Wine Room, 50 seated (100 cocktail) in the Catalina Room or a celebration for up to 140 people seated (250 cocktail) in the Roe Room on the first level.

The Roe Room: the flagship and larger wedding venue. Situated on Level 1 with stunningly unique views of Matilda Bay, the Swan River, Kings Park and Perth City, the Roe Room is a flexible choice offering formal sit down events catering for up to 140 guests, or cocktail style events with a capacity of up to 250 guests. The Roe Room is also unique in Perth as it has a dedicated kitchen. This means your guests receive the highest quality food befitting of your occasion.

The Catalina Room: a smaller venue situated on the ground level with an adjoining patio alfresco allowing you and your guests to bask in the natural beauty of our adjacent park, trees and rivers’ edge while having an indoor more formal element too. The room has a strong sense of indoor/outdoor flow through our large bi-fold glass doors giving guests a calm sense of serenity. Catering for small groups, The Catalina Room has a capacity of up to 50 guests seated or up to 100 guests cocktail style.

Wedding Season: If there is a season for Weddings in Perth, it is October to April. October and November along with March and April are the season peaks.
